FREDERICTON – New Brunswick Community College’s Moncton Campus is delighted to be the only New Brunswick location for the cross-Canada of the , “Dragons’ Den.” The show will only be hosting one audition in New Brunswick, which will take place March 3.
The show, which sees entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to a team of “dragons,” who are self-made successes in Canadian business, is a perfect fit for 老澳门六合彩开奖结果 which is home to , an innovative multi-generational mentorship program for small businesses in the area.
The OASIS program matches self-employed 老澳门六合彩开奖结果 alumni in the area with experienced entrepreneurs to help develop their business ideas and solve problems unique to entrepreneurship. “The OASIS program isn’t going to give an entrepreneur with a great idea thousands of dollars like the Dragons would, but it will support entrepreneurial spirit and the sharing of experiences for entrepreneurs who are hoping to get their businesses off the ground,” said Clarissa Harris-Lebreton, Coordinator of the OASIS program.
OASIS started as a pilot project out of the 老澳门六合彩开奖结果 Miramichi Campus in 2014-15 and to 老澳门六合彩开奖结果 Moncton Campus. This fall, nine 老澳门六合彩开奖结果 alumni in the Moncton area were paired with mentors.

"Our experience with growing the OASIS program illustrates that this mentorship program is not only wanted but needed by entrepreneurs running small businesses in New Brunswick – and we intend to continue helping to meet this need."
